- Challenge
- SMS order updates left no place for customers to reply, so 'where is my order' tickets dominated the support queue.
- Approach
- Templated WhatsApp updates opened a 24-hour service window per order, threading every customer reply back to the same agent.
WhatsApp Business API for notifications, support and sales
BroadNet is a WhatsApp Business API provider in the UAE and an official Meta Business Solution Provider: direct WABA provisioning, Green Tick verification support, priority Meta access and free template approval assistance, with zero markup on Meta's per-message rates.

How verified WhatsApp ships
from your API call to the phone.
Direct Cloud API bind as a Meta Business Solution Provider. Template validation runs at our edge — no 'rejected on Meta' surprises after submit, no spinner on your backend.
- 01 · SubmitPOST /whatsapp/message/sendbulk
Recipients (destinationNo), messageType and your text or approved template — submitted as multipart/form-data with a Bearer token. The verified sender is configured on your account.
gateway send - 02 · EdgeTemplate validate
Variable count, language, and approval status checked against your registered template library before submission.

Send your first WhatsApp message in one request.
One HTTPS call with a Bearer token, a multipart form and your verified sender. Send free-form text inside the 24-hour window or an approved TEMPLATE outside it — the response returns a batchId, and every recipient moves SUBMITTED → SENT → DELIVERED → READ on your webhook.
- Bearer-token auth · POST /whatsapp/message/sendbulk
- TEXT, TEMPLATE, IMAGE, DOCUMENT, INTERACTIVE, FLOW and more — batchId returned on 200 OK
- SUBMITTED → SENT → DELIVERED → READ on your webhook

Approved messages, ready outside the 24-hour window.
Notifications, OTPs, order updates and marketing all run through Meta-approved templates with variables, header media and quick-reply buttons. Our team helps you draft, submit and revise rejections — typical approval in 24-48 hours.
- Authentication, Utility, Marketing and Service categories
- Variable placeholders, media headers, up to 10 buttons
- Bulk submission and version history per template
24-hour service window, free-form and unstructured.
When a customer messages first, a 24-hour service window opens. Send anything inside that window — no templates required — and the window resets with every customer reply. Since 1 October 2026 Meta bills replies inside the window per message at the market's utility rate, after a free tier of 1,000 service messages per business phone number per month (they were free until 30 September 2026).
- Free-form text, media, lists and buttons inside the window
- Window automatically refreshes on each inbound message
- Webhook fires the moment the window opens or closes
Carousels, locations, documents — render natively.
Send images up to 5 MB, video and audio up to 16 MB, documents up to 100 MB, live or static locations, contact cards, stickers, and product carousels. Everything renders inline in the user's WhatsApp chat — no third-party preview.
- Images, video, audio, documents and stickers
- Static and live location with map preview
- Product carousels backed by your WhatsApp catalog
Conversations, not broadcasts.
Quick-reply chips, list pickers and CTA buttons turn every message into a decision point. Inbound replies are posted to your webhook, ready to hand off to your agent platform or bot.
- Up to 3 quick replies, lists of up to 10 options
- Read receipts, typing and delivery webhooks
- Native agent handoff to your CRM or helpdesk

Pay per delivered template. Zero markup.
Since 1 July 2025 Meta bills each delivered template message (marketing, utility or authentication) by category and country. BroadNet adds a transparent service fee — zero markup on Meta's rates — with consolidated billing across every channel you run.
Three teams that turned
WhatsApp into a channel that pays.
- Challenge
- Monthly statements over SMS were poorly trusted and rarely opened.
- Approach
- Statement delivery moved to a verified WhatsApp Business profile with localised copy.
- Challenge
- A large subscriber base needed commercial templates approved fast without an in-house Meta liaison.
- Approach
- BroadNet ran the full submission flow, language reviews and Meta back-and-forth from a regional desk.
The BSP scale behind your green tick.
The reach and operator network your WhatsApp traffic inherits as a BroadNet customer — the same interconnects that carry our A2P SMS.
Direct operator reach across MENA, Africa and beyond.
Direct interconnects behind every message we route.
Carrier-grade A2P send rate on the interconnects your WhatsApp inherits.
Two decades of carrier-grade messaging delivery.
Built to Meta's policies. And every regulator's.
Opt-in capture, consent records, policy-compliant templates and regional data handling — all baked into the platform so your growth team never has to learn the rule book.
WhatsApp Business,
answered without the legalese.
Typically 5–15 business days from MSA signature to first production template approval. BroadNet handles the Meta Business Manager linkage, the BSP setup, brand verification, and the initial template submissions. The biggest variable is your own brand verification with Meta — if your business is already verified, we move much faster.
Per delivered template message, in three categories (Authentication, Utility and Marketing), at Meta's list rate for each market; rates are quoted per market on /pricing/whatsapp. Meta moved from per-conversation to per-message pricing on 1 July 2025, so every template you send is billed on delivery. Since 1 October 2026 Meta bills replies inside the 24-hour customer service window per message, at the same rate as utility and authentication messages in that market: free-form service messages after a free tier of 1,000 service messages per business phone number per month, utility templates from the first message (both were free until 30 September 2026). BroadNet adds zero markup on Meta's rates; we bill our routing/SLA layer separately.
Anything you send first must be a pre-approved template — order confirmations, OTPs, appointment reminders, marketing offers. You write the copy with variable placeholders ({{1}}, {{2}}), categorise it (Auth/Utility/Marketing), choose languages, and submit. Meta reviews in 24–48 hours. We pre-screen your template against Meta's policy first, so most submissions clear on the first pass.
Yes. When a user replies to any of your messages, a 24-hour service window opens during which you can send free-form messages (no template required). Inbound messages are posted to your webhook, and outbound free-form sends use the same POST /whatsapp/message/sendbulk call as your templated messages, with messageType TEXT instead of TEMPLATE. Most customers route the inbound to their existing helpdesk (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Salesforce SC).
Messages ship over a direct Cloud API bind as a registered Business Solution Provider, so delivery is fast and reliable on operator-direct routing. When a message can't be delivered — recipient hasn't installed WhatsApp, has blocked your business, or the WhatsApp account is in a no-service state — each failure mode returns a distinct error code so you can route fallback (SMS) appropriately.
WhatsApp requires explicit opt-in before you message a user — we don't store the opt-in records for you. You provide an opt-in source (web form, USSD, IVR) and timestamp when you register the contact on your account. We audit the existence of an opt-in record before the first send to any new MSISDN; without one, the send is rejected before it reaches the network.
Yes — all WhatsApp media types: image, video, audio, document (PDF, DOCX, XLSX up to 100MB), location, contact card. Interactive: reply buttons (up to 3), list message (up to 10 sections of 10 rows each), call-to-action URL buttons, phone-number buttons. All available via the same template or free-form API.
Dedicated WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) provisioning, white-glove template approval (we draft and submit on your behalf), named technical account manager, 24/7 NOC pager for sev-1, monthly conversation-volume reviews, and a direct Meta escalation path for account-health issues, as an official Meta Business Solution Provider.
