By the numbers
Automated rate management, in round numbers.
Platform capabilities
Six modules in one pricing platform.
Email processing, multi-format parsing, data validation, effective-date scheduling, dashboards, and downstream integration — built for operators and aggregators who receive rate cards from hundreds of partners every month.
Dynamic rate cards
Per-sender format templates handle every quirk — different column orders, header conventions, sheet layouts, encodings. One template per partner, written once, never touched again.
Effective-date scheduler
Future-dated changes land in a history table the moment they're parsed. The scheduler applies them to the live database on the operator's stated effective date. No manual cutover, no missed midnight.
Currency conversion
Inbound rates in USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, INR, NGN — anything. Normalised to your operating currency at parse time using daily FX feeds. Margin math always lines up.
A2P pricing & bands
Wholesale, retail, enterprise, and partner bands per destination. Volume tiers, commitment discounts, and grey-route premiums attached at the rate level. Routing reads it, billing reads it.
Margin dashboards
Cost-vs-sell spread per destination. Top movers by margin erosion. Increase / Decrease / New / Same / Deleted pie. Top companies by inbound rate-card volume. System monitor for the platform itself.
Downstream integration
Source of truth for pricing in your stack. Webhooks fire on every rate change. CSV exports for downstream batch jobs. Direct database integration into routing engines and billing systems.
Capability matrix
Every stage, from inbox to live rate.
Eight capabilities, one pipeline. Each stage has a defined input, a defined output and a known cadence — so a pricing team can trace any rate on the live database back to the email that produced it.
| Capability | What it does | Input / trigger | Output | Cadence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Inbox ingestion | Watches mailboxes over IMAP/SSL and pulls rate-card attachments | Partner email + attachment | Parsed row set | 5-min poll |
| Format parsing | Per-sender templates for 15+ file layouts and encodings | XLS · XLSX · CSV · TXT | Normalised rows | Per message |
| Validation | Range checks vs history, de-duplication, currency sanity | Parsed rows | Accepted / quarantined | Per message |
| Currency conversion | Normalises any of 37 currencies to your operating currency | Foreign-currency rates | Single-currency rates | Daily FX feed |
| Effective-date scheduler | Queues future-dated changes and applies them on the stated date | Effective date | Live DB write | On effective date |
| Margin engine | Cost-vs-sell spread per destination and pricing band | Cost + sell rates | Margin %, top movers | Live |
| A2P bands | Wholesale, retail, enterprise and partner tiers with volume steps | Band configuration | Priced rows per band | On change |
| Downstream sync | Pushes the source of truth into routing and billing systems | Rate-change event | Webhook · CSV · DB | On change |
How it works
One pipeline from partner email to routing engine.
A rate card lands in the mailbox. The parser reads it against that partner's template, validation quarantines anything out of range, FX normalises the numbers, and the scheduler holds future-dated changes until their effective date. The pricing database is the single source of truth every downstream system reads from.
- IMAP/SSL mailbox
- Attachments pulled
- Sender allowlist
- Per-sender template
- Range checks
- Quarantine on fail
- 37-currency FX
- Effective-date queue
- History table
- Single source of truth
- Cost + sell + bands
- Rollback ready
- Routing engine
- Billing system

Worked example
A supplier hikes a rate. You see it the same day.
An illustrative scenario: a GCC operator lifts its A2P cost from $0.0354 to $0.0367 — a 3.67% increase. Your enterprise sell price for that market is fixed at $0.0450 by contract. The moment the new card is parsed, the margin view recomputes the spread and flags the erosion before a single message is billed at the old assumption.
| Destination | Cost now | Sell | Spread | Margin % | vs last card |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| GCC MNO · SA | $0.0367 | $0.0450 | $0.0083 | 18.4% | ▼ −2.9 pp |
| Gulf MNO · AE | $0.0398 | $0.0520 | $0.0122 | 23.5% | ▲ +2.7 pp |
| W. Africa MNO · NG | $0.0128 | $0.0180 | $0.0052 | 28.9% | ▲ +7.8 pp |
| N. Africa MNO · EG | $0.0094 | $0.0120 | $0.0026 | 21.7% | ▼ −4.1 pp |
Who runs on the Pricing Module
Three teams. One source of truth.
Carriers managing interconnect rates
MNOs and MVNOs receive interconnect rate cards from hundreds of bilateral partners. The Pricing Module ingests every monthly update, validates against historical norms, and applies on effective date — without a spreadsheet ever opening.
- Bilateral A2P rate cards
- Interconnect updates per route
- Operator partner allowlist
Aggregators protecting their spread
Aggregators live and die on the spread between supplier cost and customer sell. The platform exposes margin per destination in real time, surfaces erosion the day a supplier hikes, and lets pricing teams reprice downstream before the bill hits.
- Cost-vs-sell per destination
- Erosion alerts on supplier hikes
- Reprice downstream in one click
Enterprise teams holding committed pricing
Enterprise customers buy on committed rates with effective-date guarantees. The scheduler enforces those commitments automatically — the live pricing database honours each contract's effective window without a billing engineer in the loop.
- Per-customer committed rates
- Effective-date guarantees
- Contract-aware billing exports
Security & compliance
Carrier-grade controls. Auditor-friendly.
Email-based 6-digit second factor
Username/email and password as first factor; 6-digit code to the registered mailbox as second. Resend, controlled disable from User Management, and email-reset for forgotten passwords.
Every change is recorded
Each parsed row, validation outcome, scheduled change, and database write is journalled with sender, operator, user, and timestamp. Regulator-ready exports.
Information security baseline
Operated on ISO 27001-certified infrastructure with SOC 2 Type II controls, GDPR-aligned data residency, and role-based access control across User Management.
How it fits
One source of truth the whole stack reads from.
The Pricing Module is not an island. Webhooks fire on every rate change, CSV exports feed batch jobs, and direct database integration wires it into the routing engines and billing systems that turn a rate into revenue.
A2P SMS routing
The routing engine reads live rates and bands straight from the pricing database.

Learn moreFAQ
Questions pricing teams ask first.
What file formats can it parse?
XLS, XLSX, CSV and TXT, across 15+ layout variants. Each partner gets a per-sender template that captures its column order, header conventions, sheet layout and encoding — written once and reused on every future card, so quirks never become manual work.
How does the effective-date scheduler work?
Future-dated changes land in a history table the moment they are parsed. The scheduler applies each one to the live database on the operator's stated effective date — no manual cutover, no missed midnight. Because the history table retains prior values, changes are rollback-ready.
What happens when a rate fails validation?
Validation runs range checks against historical norms, de-duplicates rows and sanity-checks currencies. Anything out of range is quarantined rather than written live, and surfaced for review — so a fat-fingered supplier card can't silently corrupt your routing table.
How does currency conversion stay accurate?
Inbound rates in any of 37 currencies are normalised to your operating currency at parse time using daily FX feeds, and every conversion is audit-logged. Your margin math always lines up because cost and sell are held in a single currency on the live database.
How does pricing reach our routing and billing systems?
The pricing database is the source of truth. Webhooks fire on every rate change, CSV exports feed downstream batch jobs, and direct database integration wires rates into routing engines and billing systems. Downstream systems read; they never guess.
Who can change rates, and is it audited?
Admin access is protected by an email-based 6-digit second factor on top of username and password, with role-based access across User Management. Every parsed row, validation outcome, scheduled change and database write is journalled with sender, operator, user and timestamp — regulator-ready.
Can it handle per-customer committed pricing?
Yes. Committed rates with effective-date guarantees are enforced by the scheduler automatically. The live pricing database honours each contract's effective window per band — wholesale, retail, enterprise or partner — without a billing engineer in the loop.
