Compliance FAQ
Is BroadNet registered with MENA telecom regulators?
Yes. In our core Gulf and Levant markets — the UAE (TDRA), Saudi Arabia (CST), Egypt (NTRA), Jordan (TRC), Kuwait (CITRA), Qatar (CRA), Oman (TRA), Bahrain (TRA) and Lebanon (TRA) — BroadNet files and manages alphanumeric sender-ID registration on your behalf as part of onboarding.
What is sender-ID registration and do I need it?
Most MENA regulators require every alphanumeric sender name to be pre-registered before A2P traffic is delivered; unregistered IDs are blocked at network level. BroadNet handles registration — typically 5–14 business days depending on the market.
Where is my data hosted?
BroadNet supports MENA-resident, EU-resident, US-resident and Singapore-resident hosting depending on requirement; the default is MENA-resident. Cross-border transfers are governed by EU SCCs plus region-appropriate addenda.
Which certifications does BroadNet hold?
ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 22301, plus a SOC 2 Type II attestation and GSMA membership. Detailed audit reports are available to customers and prospects under NDA.
