How do I top up my balance?

Last reviewed 1 min readReviewed by BroadNet engineering
Quick answer

BroadNet prepaid accounts run on a balance you top up in advance. In the dashboard, go to Billing → add funds to top up by card or bank transfer. Set an auto-recharge threshold so your balance refills automatically and sending never pauses mid-campaign. Enterprise accounts can instead use monthly invoicing with agreed credit terms rather than pre-funding a balance.

The long answer

Everything worth knowing, nothing that isn't.

§01

Add funds in the dashboard

Go to Billing in the dashboard and choose add funds. Enter the amount, confirm the payment method (card or bank transfer), and the balance updates once the payment clears. Your balance is drawn down as you send, per message and per destination — see /answers/sms-pricing-per-mt-explained.

§02

Set an auto-recharge threshold

To avoid a paused send when the balance runs low, set an auto-recharge rule in Billing: when your balance drops below a threshold you choose, BroadNet automatically tops it up by a set amount using your saved payment method. This keeps high-volume and OTP traffic flowing without manual intervention.

§03

Enterprise invoicing and credit terms

Larger accounts don't have to pre-fund a balance. Enterprise customers can move to monthly invoicing with agreed net credit terms, so you send against a credit line and settle on an invoice cycle instead of topping up. Talk to sales to arrange invoicing. See /answers/payment-methods.

§04

Currencies and methods

Top-ups are billed in AED or SAR for MENA accounts and USD for international accounts, via major credit/debit cards or bank transfer. Choose the funding method that suits your finance process — cards for instant top-up, bank transfer for larger amounts. See /answers/payment-methods and /answers/download-invoices.
