MEF — Mobile Ecosystem Forum.
Overview
The Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) is a global trade body for the mobile ecosystem, best known for its codes of conduct and trust frameworks around application-to-person (A2P) messaging. BroadNet is a MEF member.
What MEF is
MEF is a cross-industry association whose members span operators, aggregators, enterprises, and technology providers. Its work concentrates on trust and anti-fraud in the messaging channel: codes of conduct for A2P SMS and sender ID, the SMS Sender ID and messaging-fraud frameworks, RCS business messaging guidance, and consumer-protection initiatives that keep the channel usable and legitimate.
Why it matters to an enterprise buyer
MEF membership signals that a messaging provider has committed to the industry's anti-fraud and consumer-protection codes — which protects the deliverability and reputation of your traffic.
- Commitment to MEF codes of conduct for A2P messaging and sender ID.
