Overview

The GSMA (GSM Association) is the global industry body representing mobile network operators and the wider mobile ecosystem. It sets the technical guidelines and interconnect conventions that govern global messaging. BroadNet is a GSMA Associate Member.

§01

What GSMA is

The GSMA represents mobile network operators worldwide, together with a broad ecosystem of adjacent companies. It publishes the technical and commercial guidelines that underpin cross-operator interworking — including the IR-, FS-, and AA-series documents that shape A2P messaging, signalling security, and fraud control — and it runs industry programmes spanning RCS, eSIM, Open Gateway network APIs, and messaging-fraud prevention, as well as the Mobile World Congress events.

§02

Why it matters to an enterprise buyer

Working inside the GSMA means BroadNet operates to the same interconnect and security conventions as the operators it connects to, and tracks standards changes as they are written.

  • Alignment with GSMA messaging and signalling-security guidelines.
  • Visibility of A2P, RCS, eSIM, and Open Gateway standards as they evolve.
  • Operator-grade interworking conventions rather than best-effort routing.
§03

BroadNet's status

BroadNet is an Associate Member of the GSMA and participates in the industry's messaging and interconnect community.
