Webhook payload inspector.

Paste a messaging webhook — a delivery receipt or an inbound message — and this validates the JSON, detects the event type, and explains every field in plain English. It runs entirely in your browser, so you can safely inspect real payloads; nothing is uploaded.

The short answer

What a messaging webhook tells you

A messaging webhook is an HTTPS callback your server receives when something happens to a message. The two common events are a delivery receipt (DLR) — reporting whether a message reached the handset and, if not, why — and an inbound message (MO) — a reply from a recipient. Reading these fields correctly is how your application reacts to delivery, failure, and replies in real time.

Frequently asked questions

What is a messaging webhook?
It is an HTTPS endpoint on your server that a messaging platform calls to push real-time events — delivery receipts and inbound messages — instead of you polling an API. It is how your application learns, the instant it happens, that a message was delivered, failed, or received.
What is a delivery receipt (DLR)?
A DLR is the event reporting the final state of a sent message — delivered, failed, expired — usually with an operator-level error code when it fails. Reading DLRs by status and error code is how you diagnose delivery problems and reconcile what you sent against what arrived.
Is my payload uploaded anywhere?
No. The inspector parses the JSON entirely in your browser with the built-in JSON parser. Nothing is sent to BroadNet or any server, so it is safe to paste real payloads while debugging.
Why should I verify webhook signatures?
Because anyone can POST to a public URL. A signed webhook (for example HMAC-SHA256) lets you verify the payload really came from your provider before you trust the event. Use the Webhook Signature Validator to check a signature.
