Cookie Policy.
Overview
How BroadNet uses cookies and similar browser storage on our websites, what each category does, and how you control your consent.
The categories we use
When you first visit, our consent banner lets you accept or decline each optional category. Analytics, Marketing and Preferences are off by default and are only enabled if you opt in. We group cookies and browser storage into four categories:
- Essential — required for the site to function: a first-party session identifier (bn_sid), load balancing, and the record of your cookie choices. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — anonymous, privacy-friendly usage metrics that tell us which pages and flows perform well so we can improve them. Only set if you accept Analytics.
- Marketing — used to measure the performance of BroadNet campaigns and to show you more relevant BroadNet content. Only set if you accept Marketing.
- Preferences — remembers choices such as language, region, theme and recently viewed products so the site feels consistent across visits. Only set if you accept Preferences.
Managing your consent
Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot function without them. Analytics, Marketing and Preferences are off unless you opt in through the consent banner. You can revisit and change your choices at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the site footer, which re-opens the consent controls. You can also block or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings, though some features may stop working if you disable essential storage.
Where your consent is stored
Your consent choices are stored locally in your own browser (under the key bn.cookieConsent.v1) so we can honour them on future visits. This record stays on your device and is not sold or shared. Clearing your browser storage resets your choices, and the consent banner will appear again.
