These are the checks most relevant to messaging teams on BroadNet: - Carrier and line type Line type (mobile, fixed line, VoIP, toll-free and others), the current carrier and, when a number was ported, the original carrier. Real time or bulk; currently in beta. - Messaging apps Whether a number is registered on Telegram, Viber or Zalo in real time, and on Signal, iMessage, RCS, LINE or Botim in bulk jobs. The RCS check also reports the handset platform when available. - E-mail mailbox Whether a mailbox exists at a major webmail provider, without sending an e-mail or opening the mailbox. Company and custom domains return unknown and are not charged. - Spam reputationUS · CA · DE A risk level and reasons for US, Canadian and German numbers. Send up to 100 phone numbers and e-mail addresses in one real-time lookup, or up to 50,000 rows in a bulk job after a free cost estimate. - Real-time lookups POST /v1/lookup with up to 20 checks per request. It waits up to 10 seconds by default (30 at most) and returns 202 with a poll URL for answers still pending. - Bulk jobs Up to 50,000 numbers or addresses per job, in JSON or CSV, with a free estimate first. Bulk-only checks, such as Signal, iMessage, RCS and LINE, run here. - Webhooks and idempotency Signed webhooks for completed lookups and jobs, and an Idempotency-Key header so a retried request is not checked twice. - SDKs, CLI and MCP Node.js and Python SDKs, a command-line tool and an MCP server that lets AI agents run checks with scoped, spend-capped agent keys. Inconclusive results (unknown, unsupported country, timeout, invalid, duplicate) are not charged. Cache hits and test keys are free, and numbers or addresses on the opt-out list are never checked or billed. You work from a prepaid USD balance. The maximum possible cost is reserved before checking, then conclusive answers are settled and the rest is released. A max_cost limit and free job estimates keep spend predictable. Realtime lookups are kept for 7 days and bulk jobs for 30 days by default (1 day to 24 months per account). A finished job can be deleted at any time. Each account has its own cache; a result obtained for one customer is never served to another. Checks never return names, photos, profiles or locations, and never send a message, call or e-mail to the person. Anyone can object to being checked; suppressed numbers and addresses are never checked. ## Lawful uses only MobileValidate's acceptable-use policy allows checks for fraud prevention and for customers who have agreed to hear from you.
