There are no fixed per-account rate limits on the BroadNet API. Throughput is sized to each account's traffic profile in line with market-standard practice, and SMPP capacity per bind is agreed with your account team. Build clients the standard way: reuse connections, respect the SMPP window you agree, and retry with exponential backoff on 5xx errors and timeouts.

> **Plan your peaks with us** Tell your account team before a large campaign — checkout flows, breaking-news pushes, election alerts — and capacity is reserved for it. Normal traffic needs no ticket and no ceiling request.

## Examples

### client good practice

```yaml
rest:
  rate_limit: none          # no fixed per-account limit
  connections: keep-alive   # reuse HTTPS connections
  retry: exponential backoff on 5xx and timeouts
smpp:
  throughput: per agreement # up to 30,000 SMS/s per node
  window: agreed per bind   # outstanding submit_sm
hlr_lookup:
  rate_limit: none
  cache: 24h                # repeat lookups served from cache
```
