Carrier Community's annual GCCM Europe and Mobile Messaging Summit ran 15-17 June at the Hotel Palace Berlin. Three days of operator-to-operator conversations on routing, monetisation, fraud, and where the regulatory net is tightening next. We were there at the booth and across the working-group sessions.

## The themes we heard loudest

- Grey routes are getting smarter — and so are the operators chasing them. The IMEI-rotation patterns we wrote about in 2024 are now standard signal for any modern firewall.
- A2P monetisation is the single fastest line-item growth opportunity inside MNO finance — when the firewall + sender-ID registry stack is actually deployed.
- Machine-learning detection is moving from 'pilot' to 'default'. The static beep/rule packs are being decommissioned at tier-1 operators.
- RCS Business Messaging is finally moving in MENA, with operators recognising the trust + conversational economics it unlocks.

## What we showed

Live demo of the firewall+AMD verdict surface against a sample CDR/DLR cross-section — the same workflow that runs in front of operator SMSCs across MENA, Africa and Asia.
